ABOUT
We are a non-profit karate dojo
In addition to raising funds for our programs we often fundraise to support other local non-profits and persons in need.
We strive to teach the value of giving back to all our students, even the littlest ones.
Teaching empathy and compassion for all.
Our mission is to ensure that all persons have the ability to feel safe,
confident and purposeful regardless of any limitations of their mind, body or spirit.
We have programs for all ages and abilities.
Black belt instructors Donna and Harry Harris offer training in Pinan-Do Karate at their spacious dojo in Auburn, Maine. Classes are geared toward adults, children, and families, including karate, kickboxing, and women’s self defense.
We focus on training with the same purpose as the original Karate masters, looking for peace of mind and body through the training of Karate. Phoenix Karate has over 11 Black Belt Instructors and Assistant Instructors.

WOMEN'S SELF DEFENSE SEMINARS
Next Session: April 10,2024
Our WSD classes are offered twice a year as Six Week Courses. These techniques are taught for women, by women. These techniques are easy to learn and execute and are very effective. We also offer private seminars for business' and other organizations. Funds raised by this program allow us to provide ongoing training at no cost to victims of violence.
K.I.C.K.S. Kids In Control Keep Safe
Our K.I.C.K.S. Kids In Control Keep Safe program is a multi-faceted child safety and youth leadership training program for students, staff and parents. Teaching the values of empathy compassion using age appropriate training materials, such as interactive videos, activity booklets, educational games, motivational speakers and small group conflict resolution drills. Teaching children how to be respectful, kind, and responsible to keep them and others safe. This program is completely customizable to incorporate your schools core values and key words. Our seminars are fun, interactive and engaging. The children leave the seminar with a real understanding of what empathy and compassion mean and how they can use these skills to help others feel safe and confident. They also learn the importance of building self confidence and making choices to be a positive role model to others.
Our after school and summer youth leadership programs help build tomorrow's leaders today. After school pick up is included from Lewiston and Auburn schools.
