Here is my story that brought about the mission for Phoenix: I once was a young female that lacked self-confidence and self-worth. I was trapped in a very unhealthy relationship with a being who had single handedly stripped these values from my soul. One day my eldest child stated that he was being bullied and wanted to learn Karate, but he was too scared to do it along. The being that controlled every aspect of my life permitted me to take lessons with our son. Karate SAVED MY LIFE! With each lesson I began to find what was taken from me, my self-worth, self-confidence and most importantly self-love! I found the strength to distance myself from this being and every person who said that I couldn’t be who I was meant to be! So, Karate became my tool to help everyone that crosses my path find the strength to Love who they are and be who they are intended to be!
